Boxing is a physical combat sport and injuries can occur. This is why PRO9 Corporate Rumble takes your safety very seriously. The team at Anarchy have specifically designed a 9-week training program to train participants in the art of boxing. It is very important participants attend the minimum amount of training sessions stated to help prevent injuries. We pride ourself on complying with the Department of Sports and Recreation- The Combat Sports Commission. We endevour for all participants to have a fair and even opponent and will keep a close eye on the progression of each participant throughout the training program.
All levels of fitness are welcome! Our training program is designed to get you in the best shape of your life and to have you feeling confident to step into the boxing ring.
No- All you need is passion! You are signing up to learn how to box, get in shape and to step out of your comfort zone.
There will be four PCR private group classes each week that will focus on sparring, ring craft, defence, fitness and all things boxing. You will also have full class membership access to the Anarchy Training Center timetable which is designed predominantly around fitness.
Yes. Sparring may sound scary but it is necessary to prepare you for what to expect on the fight night. Everyone is in the same boat and we will build your boxing skills to a level where you will be able to spar safely and proficiently.
It is compulsory to make two of the private group classes per week and at least one session, whether it be the private group sessions or any other on the Anarchy timetable. We strongly recommend this to be a minimum as we will be keeping an eye on your progress and from here matching you with an opponent. It is vital that we see progression in your training to be able to match you up in an even and fair match for safety reasons.
By signing on to the PCR challenge you are making a commitment for the next 9-weeks to yourself. We understand with work and personal commitments it won’t always be possible to make the minimum boxing sessions. We appreciate you keeping open communication with your coach on the occasions that you are not able to make it.
The PRO9 Corporate Rumble endeavours to match opponents fair and evenly, whilst complying with the Department of Sports and Recreation- The Combat Sports Commission. Matching takes into account weight, age, experience and ability. We aim to match as evenly as possible to provide the best fights on the night.
Each fight is judged under the professional boxing rules system under the ’10 points must system’.
The PRO9 Corporate Boxing Challenge is sanctioned under the Department of Sports and Recreation- Combats Sports Commission.
